Chiamaka Okike is an independent author and essayist whose work has been published both in print and digitally.

After spending a large chunk of her life being born and raised in Ibadan- Nigeria, she has since relocated to the United Kingdom.

She has published a number of works, namely ‘Perihelion’, ‘Return to the Sun,’ ‘Fuschia Pink and Midnight Lace,’ ‘The World is Dancing to Africa’s Tune,’ ‘A Name No Mother Would Give you,’ ‘Amore e Liberazione,’ ‘14 lasts forever’, , ‘Songs About Surulere’ and ‘If people are art then museums are graveyards.’ This is alongside the work she does as a writer for Ayika Magazine and a mentor for IgeLead.
